MORNING COFFEE!
What would morning be without coffee? Pretty sure, all moms should wake up with a fresh cup of coffee sitting next to their bed each morning, delivered, free, and an imaginary deliverer, like a coffee angel sent from heaven to help moms cope with the early rising children, who's in?

My early risers. I know i'm not the only mom that struggles with mornings! Somedays I wake up ready to take on the day, but most of the time, i'm dragging and slow. I must say, I love the morning where the boys are just as sluggish as I am, and just want to cuddle. I've come to learn, LIFE CAN WAIT! Yes, there are dishes in the sink, a load of laundry anxiously waiting to be washed, and a litter box needing cleaned (he's so small how does he accumulate so much poop?) But IT CAN WAIT! One day, the boys are going to come home from school, walk straight to their room and slam the door without a single word, and when that day comes, i'll look back at all the moments they just wanted me to hold them and i'm going to wish I cherished those moments. So why not cherish them now? Life can wait, dishes, laundry, facebook and the pets CAN WAIT! Time flies, don't just go through life, LIVE it.
Oh, a daily challenge of mine, MAKEUP! It's hard to find the motivation to take the time to get ready for the day and do my hair and make up, and for gad's sake put on a bra! I find myself regularly thinking, why? Why get ready? I'm not going anywhere, and the only people that are going to see me today are my husband and kids, so why? Then I re-say that in my head, the only people going to see me are my HUSBAND and KIDS, the most important people in my life are going to be the only people seeing me today, so really, why SHOULD'T I get ready? The most important people in my life, are going to be with me today, why shouldn't I want to look my best? What motivates me the most, is each day after I get ready (bra and all, GO ME!) my twins run to me saying, "Awe mommy you look pretty," yeah, i'll take those few minutes to look good for all my lovely men.
Yeah, found myself "air-planing" my own fork into my mouth today, FACE PALM!
I recently learned, that reading the same books on a regular basis will help children learn to read themselves, and help with memory improvement. Nap time book, Chicka Chicka BOOM BOOM!
Yeah, we're almost out of flowers, my house, and my neighbors, because my boys pick me flowers daily, and i wouldn't trade it for the world.
How could I not have a good day with smiles like these lighting up the room?
Todays lesson for me, find time. Find time to play, to cuddle, to laugh, and most of all, to love. Mornings set the tone for the day, so start it right!
